I'm in the process of designing a new website and thought I'd give you a sneak peak of my splash page that I designed as I'm very pleased with. I will be coloured but for the moment here it is in black and white.

London Calling

I'm of to London for the weekend for a friends birthday, but I'm also planning some exhibition visits. It feels like ages since I've had a wander around London. I've got a few things lined up, firstly New Designers part 1, I can't believe a year has passed since I was there last year, crazy.

I'm also planning a visit to Festival Hall to take a look at exhibition celebrating 50 years since the Festival of Britain. It looks right up my street, all the vintage patterns, I'm excited.



I also want to visit the National Theatre to see the Collier and Campbell exhibition, celebrating 50 years of designing. I love their bird design below,

I love Marimekko anyway, but these new bed covers are super lovely. I especially love the blue/purple one!

I got one of Caroline Gardner's wise word cards for my birthday, and thought I'd check out the rest of them. They are all lovely, I love the use of colours.

Birthday treats!

It was my Birthday on Wednesday, and as a treat a bought myself this lovely Marimekko cup that I've been after for ages. I was also bought the lovely hummingbird bakery cook book, yumyum! Below is a a picture of my first attempt at black bottom cupcakes, not great but they tasted good!
