Henry Moore Textiles

Yesterday I went on a trip to the Sainsbury centre, in Norwich, to look at the Henry Moore exhibition that they had on showing all the textiles he designed back in the 1940's and 50's. I've always known Moore as a artist and sculpter, and it wasn't until recently I discovered he designed fabrics as well.
The exhibition was amazing, Moore loved using bright colours and abstract motifs to brighten the post-war wardrobe. He wanted art to become a part of everyday life. It is well worth a look the fabrics are beautiful. Heres a few images from the catalogue....
